The National Association of Realtors is growing its series of post-settlement guides for consumers, with the most recent addition aimed at helping sellers understand their options for choosing — or not — to make an offer of compensation.
In its latest guide, NAR doesn't address the new rules directly but explains what it means for agents to act in the best interest of buyers and sellers.
The latest move: In a joint status report filed August 29 in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia, NAR noted that it will file a writ of certiorari — the formal process to request a review of a lower court's decision — by October 10.
The overall takeaway, T3 Sixty said, was that survey results "indicate a clear need for NAR to improve its communication and support efforts, address leadership and organizational issues and provide comprehensive training and resources."
